Birla White Cemment

Birla White Cemment is located at Plot No-78 on the Ring Road. We are right by the M R 9 Road Square, which is a very busy intersection. There is always a lot of dust in the air from the trucks passing by. Our plot is basically a large warehouse where we keep the bags of cement. It’s a heavy job, moving those bags around all day long. The air inside the warehouse smells like chalk and stone. We have a small table and a couple of plastic chairs near the entrance for when we need to do paperwork. The noise from the Ring Road never really stops. You get used to the sound of engines and horns after a while. We wear old clothes because everything gets covered in white dust anyway. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. We see a lot of contractors and builders coming through the square. Sometimes we have a quick chat while they load up their vehicles. The sun beats down on the metal roof during the summer, making it quite hot inside. We keep a large water cooler in the corner for everyone. It’s a simple operation without any bells or whistles. We just focus on the inventory and making sure the counts are right. Working near M R 9 Road Square keeps us right in the middle of all the action. It’s just how we spend our working week. We lock the gate at night and do it all again tomorrow.
