Badwaha Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our office is situated in Kanwar Colony over in Badwaha. We are based at Gopichand Chetram’s place. It is a pretty straightforward setup. We don't have any big signs or fancy furniture. Mostly, it is just a place where we can gather and talk about the farming business. Badwaha is a good area for agriculture, and we wanted to make sure the farmers here had a company that actually belonged to them. We spend our days talking to people about their yields and what kind of problems they are having with their crops. It is simple work, but it takes up all our time. Sometimes we stay late at Gopichand’s place just trying to get the books to balance. We are not some big city firm. We are just people from the colony and the surrounding areas who know how hard it is to make a living from the land. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to work by candlelight, but we get the job done. We are just trying to help each other out. Dealing with markets can be a headache, so we try to handle that as a group. It is better than trying to do it all alone. If you are around Kanwar Colony, you might see us chatting outside. We are just local folks working for the farmers here in Badwaha. No more, no less. We stick together through the dry seasons and the good ones too.
