Arihant Masale

The smell of spices is always around our place here in Scheme No 71. We’re situated in the Gnt Market area, right on Dhar Road. It’s a busy spot, especially being so near the station road where travelers are always rushing past. Our work with masale keeps us on our toes all day long. We spend most of our time grinding, packing, and making sure the bags are ready for the market. It’s a bit of a dusty job, but you get used to the scent of turmeric and chili after a while. The market gets very crowded on weekends, so we usually have to start extra early those days. It’s just a small team of us working in the back. We don't have fancy machinery for everything, so a lot of it is still done by hand. Our building is nothing special to look at, just a practical space in a good location. Sometimes the trucks blocking the road make it hard to get deliveries in, but that’s just life in Gnt Market. We’ve known the other shopkeepers around here for years, and we help each other out when things get hectic. We don’t bother with big slogans or anything like that. People know what we sell and they come back because they know us personally. It’s a basic way to live, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid. We enjoy the rhythm of the market and the people we meet every day.
