Anushka Events

Anushka Events is based out of 232, Alankar Apartment in Anoop Nagar, Indore. We work out of an apartment which gives the whole place a very different feel than a regular commercial office. It’s a bit more relaxed here. We have converted one of the main rooms into a workspace with a few desks and some chairs for when people come to visit. Anoop Nagar is a nice area and the apartment building is usually pretty quiet. We have a balcony where we sometimes go to take a break or have some tea. Most of our work is done on laptops and over the phone. We spend a lot of time looking at photos and making lists of what needs to be bought or rented for upcoming dates. Since it is an apartment, we have to be careful not to make too much noise and bother the neighbors. We have files organized in some shelves along the wall. It’s a small operation and we handle everything ourselves. People usually call us first and then come over to the apartment to sit down and go over the details. It feels a bit like a home office because that’s basically what it is. We keep our schedules on a big whiteboard so we don't forget anything important. It is a straightforward way of working and it suits the way we do things. We just focus on the planning and make sure all the notes are in the right folders.
