You can find our workshop in Pithampur. It’s a real industrial town, so there’s iron and steel everywhere you look. We’ve got a shop filled with lathes, welding machines, and all sorts of hand tools that have been used for years. The floor is concrete and it’s usually got some oil spots on it, no matter how much we clean. We do a lot of repair work and custom fabrication. If something made of metal breaks, people usually bring it to us. We’re not the type to wear suits or sit in air-conditioned offices. We’re usually covered in grease and metal shavings by midday. It’s loud because of the grinding and hammering, so we’ve all learned to talk pretty loud. Pithampur is a tough place to work because of the heat, but we’ve got some big fans that keep the air moving a little. We don’t have a website or any fancy advertisements. Most of our work comes from other factories nearby that know we can fix things quickly. It’s just a small crew of us who know our way around a welding torch. We’ve been here for a long time and we’ve seen the area grow up around us. It’s hard work, but there’s a certain satisfaction in fixing a machine that everyone else thought was scrap. We just take the jobs as they come through the door.
