Anjali Enterprises

Our place, Anjali Enterprises, is right in the middle of the Alu Pyaz Mandi. If you are familiar with the AB Road area, you probably already know how busy it gets around here. Being located at No. 263 means we are right where all the action is with the potatoes and the onions. It is a loud place, especially in the early hours of the morning when the farmers arrive and the trucks start backing into their spots. We do not have a quiet office with any air conditioning or fancy chairs. It is more about being on your feet and dealing with the general chaos of the market. The smell of the produce is everywhere, and you just get used to the dust and the noise of people shouting out their prices. We have been at this specific spot for a bit now. AB Road is always crowded with traffic, so getting in and out of the mandi can be a real challenge during the peak times of the day. Our shop is just a basic space with enough room to handle the bags and the stock. We do not really do much in terms of decorating the walls or making things look pretty for visitors. It is a functional spot for a functional business. Some days are much longer than others, especially when a big shipment comes in late. We just keep our heads down and work through it until the job is done. Living and working around the mandi teaches you a lot.
