Anand Gents Parlour

The shop is located at 28 A in Adarsh Mechanic Nagar. If you know the New Dewas Road area, you probably know where Badi Bhamori is. We are tucked right in there near the Rasoma Laboratory. It’s a decent sized room with a few chairs and mirrors that have seen a lot of faces over the years. Most of our regulars live right around here in the colony. They come in for a quick haircut or maybe a shave before they head off to work in the mornings. You can usually hear the sound of the clippers or the news playing on a small television in the corner. Sometimes it gets crowded on Sundays and people have to wait on the bench outside. Being near the laboratory means there is always people moving around the street. We’ve got the usual stuff like combs, spray bottles, and some different types of creams on the shelf. It’s not a high-end place with air conditioning that freezes you out, but the fans work well enough. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, so there is always a broom leaning against the wall. We just focus on getting the cut right so people leave looking a bit better than when they walked in. It is a simple routine that we have been following for a long time now in this part of town.
