Amity College

Amity College is situated on the 6th floor of Metro Tower in Indore, which gives it a bit of a different feel compared to a traditional campus. Since we are in a high-rise building, a big part of the day involves waiting for the elevators or seeing people from other offices in the hallways. It’s a very urban setting right in the middle of Madhya Pradesh, so you get all that city energy. The classrooms are basically converted office spaces, but they work fine for the lectures we have. You don’t get a big playground or anything like that here, so students usually hang out in the common areas or go down to the street to find something to eat between classes. The views from the windows on the 6th floor are actually quite decent, looking out over the Indore traffic and the other buildings nearby. It can get a bit cramped when several classes are letting out at the same time, and the air conditioning is always running to keep the place comfortable. Most of us who work here are used to the vertical commute and the fast pace of being in a business tower. It’s a practical place for students who are looking to get their degrees without needing all the extra frills of a huge countryside campus. We keep the office running, manage the schedules, and see a lot of different people throughout the day.
