Phura Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is called Phura Agro and we are located over at Singjamei Waikhomleikai. We have our little spot at House Number 006. Even though the address says Chandel, we are part of the farming community that stretches across this area. We are a producer company, which basically means a bunch of us farmers got together to make things easier. Farming in this part of Manipur has its own set of problems, like getting the right seeds at the right time. We use the office to keep our records and meet up when we need to decide on something. It's not a big space, just enough for a desk and some chairs. We spend most of our time out in the fields anyway. We aren't experts in business talk, we just know how to grow things. We produce various crops depending on the season. It’s a lot of physical labor, and we don’t always get it right, but we try our best. The weather can be a real headache sometimes, but that’s just how it is when you work with nature. We aren't looking to be famous or anything. We just want to make sure the farmers in our group get a fair deal for what they grow. It’s honest work and we take it one day at a time, focusing on the soil and the plants.
