We are over at Top Khongnang Makhongporompat, working out of M. Kamala Devi’s place. It’s a busy little area in Porompat and it suits us just fine. We don’t have a big corporate office with a sign on the roof. It’s just a practical space where we can keep our records and meet with the people we work with. Most of us have been involved in agriculture for a long time, so we know the struggles that come with it. We aren't here to give you a sales pitch. We just handle the day-to-day business of getting crops moved and making sure the farmers are doing okay. The office is usually a bit cluttered with paperwork and maybe some old newspapers. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks. We’re more concerned with what’s happening out in the fields. Sometimes the phone lines go down and we have to drive around to talk to people in person, but that’s just part of the job. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of employees. Just a small team that knows the local land and the people who work it. We try to keep things moving as best as we can. It’s a lot of early mornings and late nights during the harvest, but it’s worth it. We’re just a local business trying to stay helpful in Porompat.
