Hei Mahi Agro Industries Private Limited is located right at Khurai Thangjam Leikai. Thangjam Rajen Singh has been a part of this for a while and we usually run things from there. Khurai is a busy area but we find our rhythm with the agro work we do. We don't really use big words or have fancy meetings. Usually, it's just a few of us standing around discussing what needs to be moved or processed next. The industry side of things can be a bit of a headache with the paperwork, but we get through it. We aren't some giant factory. We’re more of a local operation that knows everyone in the neighborhood. You see the same faces every day and that makes the work feel a bit easier. We deal with whatever the season brings us. If the fruit is ready, we are working late. If things are slow, we take a bit of a break. It’s a natural way to run a business. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we do honest work and people know where to find us. Thangjam Leikai is a good place to be based. We are just trying to keep the agro business steady and help out where we can. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us grounded. We just take things one day at a time here and see how the crops turn out.
