We started this work up here in Kudayathoor, Idukki, mainly because we saw how much the soil was changing over the years. Our place, Neelimala Organic Fertilizers And Allied Products Private Limited, is right by Naramangalathu. It’s a quiet area, but there is always plenty to do with the organic fertilizers and all the other farm products we handle. People around here know us for just getting on with the job. It’s not a fancy setup. We spend most of our days dealing with the compost and making sure the mixes are right for the local crops. Idukki is famous for its greenery, so it makes sense to be doing this right here. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation. It is just a few of us working out of this spot in Kerala, trying to provide things that actually work for the land. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when the rains get heavy in the hills, but we manage to keep the supplies moving. We’ve been at this address for a bit now.
