You can find us at Ushasil in Kattappana. It’s a beautiful part of the world up here, even if the roads are a bit winding and tough on the car. We’ve been here at Kgees Green Acres Private Limited for a while. It’s more of a home-style office than anything else. We don’t have a big staff or a human resources department. It’s just a few of us making sure the acres are being looked after properly. Kattappana is known for its greenery, and we are right in the middle of it. We spend a lot of time outside, not just sitting behind a desk. When we are inside, we’re usually catching up on the books or making calls to people about the crops. The air is fresh up here, which makes the work a bit easier to handle. We don’t go in for marketing talk or trying to sound bigger than we are. We are a small local business, and we like it that way. Most of our neighbors are also involved in agriculture, so there’s always someone to talk to about the rain or the crop prices. We just try to keep things growing and make sure the land is treated well. It’s a lot of work, and some days are better than others, but we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. It’s just our way of life and our daily routine in the hills.
