Krishna Art Media is our small setup over at No. 2-3-231- A/18 in Krishna Nagar. We’re right in the middle of Usufguda, which is always a lively place to be. We handle all sorts of creative stuff, from printing to small design jobs. The space isn't huge, but we’ve got our computers and printers squeezed in. There are usually scraps of paper and color samples all over the tables. We started this because we liked making things, and it just grew into a business over the years. It’s not a corporate studio with fancy lighting. It’s more like a workshop where we get our hands dirty with ink sometimes. The neighborhood is full of small shops and houses, so there’s always people walking by and popping in. We’ve lived and worked in Usufguda for a long time, so we know most of the people on the block. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait it out, but that’s just life here. We don't have a big mission statement. We just try to make things look good for the people who ask us to help. Our hours are a bit flexible; if there’s a lot of work, we stay late to finish it. If it’s quiet, we might close up early and grab some tea nearby. It’s a relaxed way to run things, and it works for us and our customers.
