Vr Hatcheries & Poultry Private Limited is over at Door No.12/8 in Venkannagudaaloor. It’s a local business through and through. We handle both hatcheries and general poultry work, which keeps us on our toes from sunrise until well after dark most days. There’s something about working with livestock that doesn’t let you have a day off. We don't have a big corporate headquarters; our place in Venkannagudaaloor is where everything happens. It’s practical and built for the work we actually do, not for showing off to visitors. We aren’t really into marketing speak or trying to sound like we’re changing the world. We’re just trying to raise healthy birds and keep the business running so everyone can get paid and go home. Some days things go wrong, the power goes out, or a delivery is late, and we just have to scramble to fix it. That’s just the reality of the poultry business in this area. We’ve learned everything we know by just being here and doing the work year after year. It’s not always easy, and it definitely isn't clean work, but it’s what we do. Most people around the area know who we are just by word of mouth. We don't need much else besides that. If you see us around, we’re probably covered in a bit of dust and looking like we need a nap, but the work gets done regardless. Every bird and every egg counts for us, so we stay busy.
