Kakatiya Mines And Minerals Pvt. Ltd. is based out of an apartment-style office in Vengal Rao Nagar. We are in Flat No. 602 at Ramchandra Niwas, which is on the Main Road. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the maps and samples we have lying around. Being on the sixth floor means we have a decent view of the street, but we’re usually too busy to look out the window. We spend our time looking at mineral reports and talking to the crews at the mine sites. It’s a lot of logistics. We chose this spot because it’s easy for our partners to find us right on the main road. The elevator in the building is a bit slow, so we often take the stairs if we’re in a hurry. We aren't a massive corporation with a glass building. It’s just a few of us in a couple of rooms making sure the mining operations stay on track. We drink a lot of coffee and stay late to finish the reports. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it’s quiet. We just take it as it comes. The water cooler in the hallway is always running out, so we’re constantly dragging new bottles up. We have a small balcony where we keep some potted plants, but they don't look too great because we forget to water them sometimes. It’s just a practical way to run the business.
