Laxmi Modern Rice Mill Industry

Laxmi Modern Rice Mill Industry is located in the Moula Ali Industrial Estate at B-6b. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always a lot of noise and trucks moving about. We fit right in with all the other factories. Our mill is mostly about the machines and the storage space. It’s not the kind of place where you’d bring guests for a tour. There’s rice dust on everything, and the air smells like toasted grain. We have a small crew that has been with us for a long time. We know each other's families and often share meals during breaks. The building is a bit grey and the sign out front is starting to fade from the sun. We don’t mind, as long as the equipment keeps working. We handle a lot of volume here, and the days go by fast when we’re busy. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we all have to pitch in to get it fixed. It's just the way it goes in this line of work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. The lighting in the back of the warehouse is a bit dim, so we use flashlights when we’re looking for specific batches. We’ve got an old desk that wobbles, so we shoved a piece of folded cardboard under one leg to keep it steady. It’s those little fixes that keep us going. The estate is a good home for our business.
