We are located at 3-6-953/4 in Narayanguda, right near the bridge. If you know the area, you know exactly where the bridge is because of all the traffic that builds up there. Union Machine Tools Syndicate Narayaguda has been in this spot for a bit, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Our shop is full of heavy items, mostly machine tools and hardware that take a lot of effort to move around. We don't have a lot of room for walking, as most of the floor is taken up by crates and displays of various equipment. The noise from the traffic on the bridge is pretty constant, a sort of low rumble that you eventually stop noticing. We spend our days talking to mechanics and contractors who need specific tools for their sites. It’s straightforward work. We don't use any fancy computer systems for our sales; we just write everything down in the book and keep a carbon copy for ourselves. The ceiling is high, but we’ve managed to fill every bit of wall space with shelves. It gets quite dusty, so we are always wiping things down, though it feels like a losing battle sometimes. In the evenings, we pull down the heavy metal shutters and head home, ready to do the exact same thing again the next day.
