We are tucked away on R P Road, specifically in Room 5-2-99. It’s not the biggest place you’ll find, but we’ve been here for quite some time now. Most people know the building even if the room numbers are a bit confusing to some folks who visit for the first time. We spend most of our days dealing with machine tools, usually surrounded by iron and steel parts that need sorting. The stairs up to the room are a bit narrow, so we have to be careful when moving things around. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the building, but we just open the windows and keep going. Usually, there’s a lot of noise from the street downstairs, but you get used to it after a while. We aren't really fancy people. We just know our tools and we help the people who come in looking for something specific for their workshop. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit messy, but if you ask, we usually know exactly which corner that one specific wrench or drill bit is hiding in. We see a lot of the same faces every week, guys from the local shops just stopping by to see what we have in stock or to pick up a replacement for something they broke on a job. It’s a simple way to make a living, just keeping the machines running for everyone else on the road.
