Tyco Electronics

In Hyderabad, we are over in the Murad Nagar area of Mehdipatnam. The house number is 12-2-232/2. It’s a bit of an older part of the city, and the roads can be quite tight. Tyco Electronics has been operating from this location for some time now. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of movement. You can always smell something cooking from the nearby houses or the small eateries down the street. The office is set up inside a building that’s seen a lot of years. It’s not one of those modern glass buildings you see in the tech parks. We just have our desks and our equipment set up in a way that makes sense for us. It can get pretty hot in Hyderabad, so the fans are always going. We spend our days mostly on the computer or on the phone, coordinating things. It’s a lot of routine work, but it keeps us busy. The traffic around Mehdipatnam is legendary, so we all have our own tricks for getting to work on time. We’re just a regular bunch of people doing our jobs. There’s no big mission statement on the wall, just a calendar and maybe a few notes taped up. We do what we need to do and then head home to our families. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our life and we make it work every day.
