Tulasi Trading Company

Our company is Tulasi Trading Company and we are located at 15-7-94/A in Begum Bazar. If you’ve ever been to Begum Bazar, you know how crowded it gets. We are very close to the fish market, so there is always a very strong smell in the air and the ground is often wet. It is a chaotic place with people pushing carts and shouting all day long. Our shop is quite small and narrow. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling to hold all the trading goods. It is hard for more than two people to stand inside at once. We spend our time weighing things out and talking to the regulars who come by. The light inside is a bit dim because we don't have many windows. We’ve been in this building for a long time and the walls show it. It is an old part of the city with a lot of history. We don’t have an air conditioner, just a small table fan that tries its best. Dealing with the traffic to get here is the hardest part of the day. We usually have a cup of tea in the morning and start the work of sorting through the new arrivals. It is a messy, busy, and honest way to make a living in the heart of the market.
