Burhani Traders

Our place is located in the Shakuntalamma Complex over in the Bhoiguda area, specifically near Mekalmandi. It’s a busy part of Jainagar Colony where there is always something being moved around. Burhani Traders operates out of a space that is mostly used for storage and handling orders. We have shelves that go all the way up to the ceiling, filled with all kinds of items that we trade. It’s not a very pretty sight; there are stacks of paper everywhere and the floor is a bit uneven in places. We spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure things are where they should be. The stairs in the complex are a bit steep, so moving heavy stuff up and down can be a real chore. We have a small window that looks out toward the market, and we can hear the shouting and the trucks all day long. It gets quite dusty because of all the activity nearby, so we have to wipe down the desk every morning before we start. We keep a small kettle for making coffee and there’s usually a half-eaten packet of biscuits sitting around somewhere. It’s a practical environment for what we do. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. We just need a place to keep our stock and talk to the people we deal with. It’s just our little corner.
