Tudor Watch Co

Tudor Watch Co is situated at 5-9-322/5 in the Gunfoundry area. We are right opposite the SBH bank. It’s a solid old building and we have been here for a long time. The neighborhood has changed quite a bit over the years, but we’re still here doing what we’ve always done. Inside, the shop has a lot of wood and glass. It feels a bit like stepping back a few years, which isn't a bad thing in our opinion. We focus mostly on timepieces of all kinds. We have a workbench where the repairs happen, usually covered in tiny tools and magnifying glasses and small parts. If you have an old watch that needs some attention, we’re happy to take a look at it. We don’t make any promises we can’t keep, though, because some parts are very hard to find these days. The street outside is usually full of cars and people going to the bank or the other offices. We get a lot of professionals coming in during their lunch breaks. We try to be quick if they’re in a hurry to get back to work. My father started working with watches and passed the interest down to me. It's more of a habit now than anything else. We know the regulars by name and what they like. Sometimes we just sit and watch the traffic through the front window when it’s slow in the afternoon. It’s a quiet kind of work, very detailed and slow. We don't have a website. People just know where we are and they come by.
