We are located over at 27 Hmda-Maitrivanam in the Ameerpet area. If you know the Maitrivanam building, we are right there in the middle of all that activity. Ameerpet is always moving, isn't it? Our shop is filled with all sorts of things you’d give someone for a birthday or maybe an anniversary. We have shelves full of mugs, some photo frames, and those little glass things people like to put on their desks. It gets a bit crowded in here when a few people come in at once, especially in the evenings when everyone is out and about. We spend a lot of time cutting wrapping paper and trying to find where we put the tape. It’s a bit of a mess behind the counter sometimes, but we know where everything is. People come in looking for something last minute quite often. We try to keep a good variety so there is something for everyone, whether it’s a kid or an older person. The lights in here are bright and there is always some music playing softly in the background. It’s a nice place to work, even if the stairs outside can be a bit of a climb for some. We’ve been part of this Ameerpet scene for a bit now, watching the crowds go by. It’s just a regular gift shop, nothing too crazy, but we like being here and seeing what people pick out for their friends.
