Thushara Engineering Enterprises

Thushara Engineering Enterprises operates out of Plot No 48 B in Ida Jeedimetla. If you know Jeedimetla, you know it’s a maze of industrial units and small shops. Our workshop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a gate and a sign that’s seen better days. Inside, though, we are always doing something. Whether it’s fixing a part or cutting metal, the noise is constant from eight in the morning until we close up. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If someone comes by, they usually just walk straight into the work area and find one of us. It’s a bit dirty with oil and metal shavings on the floor, but that’s just the nature of engineering work. We’ve been at this plot for a good while and the neighbors are all doing similar things, so we help each other out with tools or advice sometimes. The power cuts can be a pain, but we have a generator that kicks in when it needs to. We don't have big meetings or long emails. We just talk about what needs to be fixed and we fix it. It is hard work and the days can be long, but we like being our own bosses in this little corner of the city. We keep things simple and try not to overcomplicate the daily tasks that keep the shop running.
