Ramana Engineering Works

Over at 7 4 77/7 in Madhavinagar, you’ll find our workshop, Ramana Engineering Works. It’s a small place but we manage to get a lot done inside those walls. The street is usually lined with scooters and the occasional delivery van parked at odd angles. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the smell of iron and oil. It’s a real working garage feel. We’ve got benches covered in tools and scraps of metal from different projects we’ve worked on over the months. Some days it’s really chaotic with three or four things going on at once, and other days it’s just one of us quietly fixing a part. We don't have a fancy sign or a big glass front. It’s just a sturdy metal shutter that we roll up every morning. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the news while we’re working. Most of the people who come to us are locals or businesses from nearby who have been using us for years. We don't bother with much paperwork beyond what’s absolutely necessary for the bills. It’s more about the skill in our hands than anything else. Madhavinagar is a nice enough place to be based, and we like the people around here. It’s just a regular engineering shop where we do the work with what we’ve got. No one here is trying to be anything other than a decent mechanic or engineer.
