We are based out of the Balanagar Township area. Tecumseh Products India Pvt. Ltd. has a long history in this part of town. It’s mostly an industrial and residential mix around here. Our facility is where we deal with cooling and refrigeration parts. It is a big place with a lot of noise from the machines and people moving things around. We have been part of the Balanagar community for many years now. Most of the workers live nearby which makes it feel like a local spot even though there are quite a few of us. The gates open early and the trucks start rolling in soon after. It’s a lot of metal and grease and hard work. We don't have a fancy front desk with flowers or anything like that. You mostly just see people in work clothes getting things done. The township has grown up around us over the decades. Sometimes the power goes out or the roads get flooded during the monsoon, but we just keep going. It’s a steady kind of life here. We focus on making sure the compressors and other parts are built right before they leave the dock. There’s not much time for sitting around and talking. We just do the manufacturing work that’s expected of us and try to keep things running smooth day in and day out. It is what we know how to do and we just stay busy with the orders.
