Our shop, New Expert Diesels Fuel Injection Engineers, is tucked away in Patel Nagar. We are right by Gandhi Bhawan in Nampally, at 5-5-190/71. This place is all about diesel engines and fuel injection systems. It’s a niche kind of work. We’ve got benches covered in tiny parts and specialized tools. It requires a lot of patience to get these things right. Nampally is a crowded area, so getting parts delivered can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We've been doing this for a long time. We aren't the type to wear clean uniforms; usually, there’s some soot or oil on our clothes by noon. People bring in pumps and injectors that have seen better days. We take them apart, see what’s wrong, and put them back together. It’s precise work, even if the workshop looks a bit cluttered. We don't do much talking, mostly just focusing on the sounds the machines make. The street outside is always noisy, which matches the vibe inside. It's a practical business. We deal with truck drivers and mechanics who need their parts fixed fast. We don't have a fancy reception area. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free. We like the technical side of things. It's satisfying to see a diesel engine running smoothly again after we've worked on the fuel system. It’s a hot workshop in the summer, and the fans barely do much, but the work has to be done regardless. We just focus on the repairs.
