Tatapudi Agro Foods Pvt. Ltd. is based at 622, Arora Colony, right on Road Number 3 in Banjara Hills. Even though the address sounds quite posh, our office is pretty grounded and practical. We are up on the hill where the air feels a little bit clearer than down in the main city. We focus on agro foods, so there’s always talk about crops and processing times going on in the rooms. The building is a regular house that was converted into an office space, so it has a kitchen and a little garden out front that we try to keep green. We don’t have a big corporate structure with dozens of managers. It’s just a handful of us sitting around a large wooden table most of the time. We handle the paperwork and the logistics for the food products that come from the rural areas. Sometimes the internet goes slow because of the trees around here, but we manage to get the emails sent eventually. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or advertisements because we prefer to let the work speak for itself. Most days are spent on the phone talking to suppliers or checking the inventory lists. It’s a quiet place to work compared to the busy markets. We usually have some of our own snacks on the table to test out while we’re working. It’s a decent way to spend the day.
