You can find us at Plot No. B-9/11 in Ida Uppal. It’s an industrial patch of ground where everyone is busy with their own manufacturing. We handle agro foods, which means there is a lot of heavy lifting and moving bags around the warehouse. The space is large and the ceiling is high, which helps a bit when the Hyderabad sun is beating down on the roof. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of what comes in from the farms. It’s a lot of dust and grit sometimes. Our desk in the corner is usually covered in sample bags and paperwork. We don't have a fancy reception area; if someone comes by, they usually just find us on the floor near the loading bay. The staff takes lunch together under the shade of a couple of trees near the gate because it’s cooler there than inside. We’ve been at this plot for a while now and we know the rhythms of the industrial estate—when the water comes, when the trash is picked up, and which tea stall has the best snacks. It’s a practical environment. We don't do much in the way of advertising; we just focus on the bags and the trucks and making sure the orders are filled correctly before the sun goes down. Most days are long and tiring, but seeing the trucks leave full makes it worth the effort for all of us here.
