Talwar Auto Garages has its home at Plot No 10 in the Huda Sainagar Colony. We’re out in Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad, specifically in the 500 070 area. If you come by, you’ll likely hear the sound of tools and engines before you even see the sign. It’s a garage, so things get a little greasy and messy, but that’s how you know work is getting done. We have a lot of regular customers from around the colony who bring their cars in for all sorts of things. Sometimes it’s just a quick check, other times a car stays with us for a week. The staff here are mostly guys who’ve been fixing engines for years. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with a TV; usually, people just stand around and chat while we take a look under the hood. Vanasthalipuram is a good place to be, it feels like a real community. We’ve seen the colony grow over the years while we stayed right here at Plot 10. We try to be fair and just tell people what’s actually wrong with their vehicles. No big sales pitches here. We just want the cars to run right so people can get to work. It’s a lot of physical labor, and by the end of the day, we’re all pretty tired, but it’s satisfying to see a car drive out better than it came in. We just keep it honest and keep the wrenches turning.
