M. R. Torques

M. R. Torques runs out of two spots here in Hyderabad. Our office is over in Goshamahal, specifically at 5-3-135/5 in the Baradari area. But the real work happens at our manufacturing unit in Putlibowli. It is a bit of a drive between the two, especially with the Hyderabad traffic being what it is. We spend a lot of time moving back and forth. The manufacturing side is at 5-1-913 and that is where you’ll hear the most noise. We deal with torque tools and mechanical parts. It is a lot of metal and grease. The office in Goshamahal is where we handle the bills and the phone calls. We have been in this business for quite some time. It’s a family-run kind of thing for the most part. We don't have fancy brochures or a PR team. We just make sure the products are built right. Putlibowli is a very traditional part of the city with lots of small workshops. We fit right in there. Most of our day is spent checking quality or talking to suppliers. Sometimes things get delayed because of the heat or parts arriving late. We just take it as it comes. We are not trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to stay busy and keep our customers coming back. It’s a straightforward way to live and work in the city.
