Narmadha Packaging

We are Narmadha Packaging, over at Plot No 515 in Ida Jeedimetla, specifically the Svcie Subhash Nagar part. Our place is full of cardboard, tape, and rolls of plastic wrap. Packaging is a messy business. There’s always scrap material on the floor and the sound of cutting machines. We spend our days measuring and boxing things up. Jeedimetla is a huge area, and Subhash Nagar is always bustling with activity. Our plot isn't huge, so we have to be smart about how we stack the finished boxes. If we get a big order, the whole place feels cramped until the truck comes to pick it up. We aren't corporate people. Most of us wear old t-shirts to work because of the dust from the cardboard. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just try to get the dimensions right so the stuff inside doesn't break. Sometimes the tape dispenser jams and everyone gets annoyed, but that’s just part of the day. We’ve been here a long time and know the neighbors well. We often lend tools to each other. It’s a basic operation. We show up, we pack things, we load the trucks, and we go home. It’s not glamorous, but it’s what we do. When the sun goes down, the lights are dim, but we know the layout well enough to not trip over the boxes. The work is steady and that’s enough for us.
