At Susee Engineers & Fabricators, our day starts pretty early over at 23, Tie, Phase-I in Balanagar. This is an industrial area, so there’s always the sound of machines and trucks moving about. We do a lot of engineering and fabrication work here, which basically means a lot of welding, cutting, and assembly. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, and our overalls definitely show it. The workshop is big enough for the machines we need, but it can get quite hot in the middle of the day. We don't really bother with fancy decorations or a plush waiting room because that’s not what we’re about. People come to us when they need something built out of steel or other metals. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints and checking measurements. Balanagar has a lot of businesses like ours, so there’s a sense of being in the right place for this kind of work. We’ve been in this specific spot in Phase-I for quite some time now. Most of the guys working here have been doing this for years, so they know the machines inside and out. It’s steady work and it’s what we know how to do. We don't really do much in the way of sales pitches. If someone needs something fabricated, they just come in and tell us what they need, and we get to work.
