Sun Engineering Works

Sun Engineering Works is located over at D-50 in Phase-4 of the Ida Jeedimetla area. If you know Quthbullapur, you know it can get pretty hectic around here with all the trucks and the dust. We’ve been operating out of this spot in the R. R. District for a good while. The shop isn’t much to look at from the outside, just a big shutter and the sound of metal hitting metal. We do a lot of different engineering jobs. Some days we are working on small parts and other days it’s much larger stuff that takes up the whole floor. The heat in the summer gets pretty bad inside the shed, so we drink a lot of water and try to keep moving. We aren't big on meetings or corporate talk. We mostly just talk over the noise of the machines. There’s a tea stall just down the road where we usually take our breaks. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we’ve become a bit like a small family. We’ve seen other shops come and go in Phase-4, but we’ve managed to stay put. We just focus on the drawings and making sure the measurements are right. It’s hard work and your hands are always dirty by the end of the day. But that’s the way it is here at D-50. We just keep our heads down and work. It isn't easy but it is steady.
