Sun Electricals

Sun Electricals is located at 4-3-108 in the Anjaiah Complex, which is in the Old Bhoiguda area of Ranigunj. If you know this part of town, you know it’s the place to go for anything electrical. The complex is always crowded with people carrying bundles of wire or boxes of lights. Our shop is just one of many, but we’ve been in this specific spot for a long time. It’s a narrow space packed with switches, sockets, and coils of cable. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, and we use a wooden ladder to reach the stuff at the top. The counter is usually covered in receipts and small parts that people are trying to match. It’s a very hands-on business. We spend the whole day talking to electricians and contractors who need supplies for their jobs. It’s noisy because of the traffic outside and the constant chatter in the market. We don't have a fancy showroom. Everything is just out where people can see it. Sometimes we get a bit overwhelmed when five people are asking for different things at once, but we manage. We take our tea from the vendor who comes around twice a day. The shop doesn't have much in the way of air conditioning, just a couple of wall fans that hum loudly. It’s a busy, dusty, and honest way to spend the day.
