Stars Engineering Stores

Stars Engineering Stores is located at Plot No 4-4-31/36. We are on the first floor on Mahankali Street. Being on the first floor is a bit of a pain when heavy parts come in, as we have to haul everything up the stairs. It’s a busy street with a lot of shops packed together. Inside the store, it’s just rows and rows of shelves filled with all sorts of engineering bits and pieces. There isn't much room to walk around, so you have to know exactly where things are kept. I usually spend my time looking through old catalogues or checking the drawers for a specific bolt or tool someone needs. It’s often dusty, and the lighting isn't the best in the back corners. We don't have a website or anything like that. Most people just know we are here on Mahankali Street and they drop by when they are stuck on a job. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. Sometimes we have to tell people we don't have what they want, and then we try to point them to another shop nearby. We drink a lot of tea to stay sharp. The traffic outside is constant, and you can hear the horns honking all day long. It’s just a regular shop run by regular people who know a bit about machinery. We open up early and stay until the street gets quiet at night. It is a simple life for us here.
