Being over at 5-1-447 To 449 in Ranigunj means we are right in the middle of everything. This building covers a few numbers, so there is enough room for what we do here at Stanley Black And Decker. Ranigunj is always crowded, which is fine because it keeps us on our toes. We spend a lot of time moving boxes and checking what came in on the last truck. The space is old, but it works for us. We have several sections inside where different things are kept. It's not always the quietest place to work with all the noise from the street coming in. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit when the heavy machines next door start up. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. If someone walks in, they usually just talk to whoever is nearest to the counter. The guys in the back are usually busy with inventory. We try to keep things organized, but when it gets busy, boxes end up in the aisles. That's just part of how we run. We've been here long enough that most of the neighbors know us. It’s a practical setup, nothing more than that. We focus on getting through the daily list of tasks. Most of the time, we’re just making sure the right items go out to the right people without any mix-ups.
