Standard Engineering Company & K.P. Rock Drills

Our workshop is situated in the E.C. Complex in Kushaiguda. The address is a bit complicated to write down with the D-22/A and 8-28/1 numbers, but we are easy enough to find once you get inside the complex area. We do a lot of work related to rock drills and general engineering for various clients. It is a heavy-duty environment here and it gets quite loud during the day. There are heavy metal parts and large drill bits lying around on the workbenches and the floor. The sound of grinding and metal hitting metal is something we hear all day long. We spend a lot of our time maintaining and repairing equipment that usually takes a real beating out at the work sites. Our hands are almost always covered in black grease or oil by the time lunch rolls around. It is definitely not the kind of place where you would want to wear nice clothes. We have some older machines that we have maintained ourselves for many years because they seem to work better than the newer models for certain tasks. We are not trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby or office space. If you come by to visit, you will likely see us hunched over a lathe or working at a welding station in the back. We have been part of the Kushaiguda industrial area for a while now. We just take the jobs as they come and try to finish them correctly.
