Sri Venkateshwar Engineering Works

Over at 1-7-152 on Musheerabad Road, that’s where Sri Venkateshwar Engineering Works is. We are in the Bakaram area. It’s a busy part of town and there is always something going on outside our door. Inside, it’s a different story. It is all about the machines and the metal. We do various types of engineering work, which basically means we fix things or make parts from scratch. The floor is dirty with grease and iron filings, and that’s just the way it is. We don't have a fancy office suite. It’s just a workshop with some old benches and a lot of tools hanging on the walls. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around, but usually, we are busy from morning until evening. It gets loud when the grinders are going, so we don't do much talking while we work. We don't have any promotional stuff or big signs promising things we can't do. People come to us because they know we are here on Musheerabad Road and we have been here for a while. We just take the jobs as they come in, do the work, and get them out the door. It is a simple way to run a business. It’s not glamorous, but it keeps us busy and the work gets done.
