Sri Shiva Engineering Works

Our workshop is located at Plot No B-37/54/2 in the Gandhi Nagar area of Balanagar. It is a noisy place because of all the engineering work happening inside. We have been in Hyderabad for quite some time now. Most mornings start with a cup of tea and then we get right to the machines. We handle a lot of metal work and repairs. It isn't a huge place, but we have enough room for the lathes and the welding equipment. Some days are busier than others, and sometimes we stay late to finish a specific part someone needs. The guys here know their way around the tools. We don't really do much advertising; people usually just hear about us from their neighbors or other shops nearby. We keep our tools on the wall and try to keep the floor swept, though metal shavings always find a way to hide in the corners. It is just honest work. We deal with whatever comes through the door. Sometimes it’s a small fix, other times it is a bigger project that takes a few days. We don't have a big corporate team, just the few of us who know how to weld and cut. If you walk past our gate in the IDA, you’ll probably hear the sound of grinders going. That is just us doing what we do every day. It's a living, and it keeps us out of trouble. We like the neighborhood even if it is dusty.
