Sri Sharada Timber Depot

We are located over in Bairamalguda, right at Mallikarjuna Nagar. Our shop numbers are 4, 5, and 6, so we take up a bit of space on the block. You’ll see the stacks of wood piled up if you’re driving down the main road near 7-1-78. We sell different kinds of timber for whatever people are building. Sometimes it’s just someone fixing a fence, and other times it’s a guy building a whole house. It gets a bit messy with all the sawdust flying around, but that’s just part of the job. We have been here for a long time and know most of the carpenters in the area. They come in and pick through the boards to find the straightest ones. We don’t really do any fancy marketing stuff. Usually, someone just tells their neighbor to come see us if they need wood. The yard is usually quite full, so parking can be a bit of a squeeze if two trucks show up at once. We spend most of our time outside moving heavy planks around. My back usually hurts by five o'clock, but that's life. We try to keep a good variety of sizes in stock so people don’t have to wait. If we don’t have it, we can usually get it in a few days. It’s a plain business, nothing special to look at, just a lot of wood and some guys working. Most people just pull up their trucks and we help them load whatever they bought.
