Balaji Board Industries

Located out at 148 to 153 in Gaganpahad, we have a fair amount of room to move around, which is lucky because the boards take up a lot of space. It is an industrial area, so it’s never really quiet around here. You can hear the trucks shifting gears out on the road and the sound of other shops doing their thing nearby. Our shed is pretty basic, just a lot of metal and concrete, but it keeps the rain off the equipment and that is what matters. We spend most of our time moving things from one side of the lot to the other, making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, and we have to spend a while sweeping it out, but that is just part of being in this part of town. The morning sun hits the front of the building pretty hard, so we usually try to get the heavy lifting done early before it gets too uncomfortable. It is a long day most times, starting early and leaving when the light starts to fade. We don't really bother with much decoration or anything like that because it would just get covered in grime anyway. It is just a place where we come to work and get things done. The coffee shop down the way is where we usually end up during our short breaks.
