Mamta Timbers

Mamta Timbers is located at H. No 2-232/A in Sai Nagar. We are over in the Old Hafeezpet area of Miyapur. If you come by, you’ll smell the wood long before you see the gate. We have stacks of timber and logs all over the yard. It’s been our way of life for quite a while. We don't have a big fancy storefront. It’s just a yard with a small office where we do the paperwork. The ground is often covered in sawdust. We spend a lot of our time moving wood around, which is heavy and slow work. We handle all kinds of wood for different people. Most of our customers are local folks or carpenters from around Miyapur. They come in, look at the planks, and we talk about the price. It’s all very straightforward. We don't have a glossy catalog or anything like that. You see what you get. Sometimes when it’s monsoon season, we have to hurry to cover the stock so it doesn't get ruined. It’s a lot of manual labor, and our hands are usually pretty rough. We enjoy the work, though. It’s honest and it keeps us busy. We’ve been here a long time and the neighbors are all friendly. It’s just a regular timber yard doing its thing every day. We just try to keep the stacks organized.
