Sri Sai Baba Home Appliances

Our shop, Sri Sai Baba Home Appliances, sits right across from Dharod House on Tilak Road. It’s over in the Abids area, near the Allauddin Institute. If you’ve ever walked down this street, you’ve probably seen our old sign hanging out front. We keep a lot of different things inside the shop, from small kitchen gadgets to bigger machines that take up most of the floor space near the back. It’s often a bit cluttered because we try to have whatever people might ask for on hand, even if we have to stack things up high. The street outside is always loud with traffic and people, which is just part of being in Boggulkunta. We spend our mornings dusting off the shelves and checking what needs to be restocked for the week. Sometimes customers come in with a very specific part they need for an old stove, and we have to dig through the back room for ages to find it. It isn't always organized perfectly, but we usually know where most things are kept. The lighting inside isn't the brightest, but it works well enough for us. We’ve been here long enough that the local regulars know us by name and stop in just to chat. We deal with the usual repairs and sales, nothing too complicated or fancy. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just sit by the front door for some light. It’s a simple operation and we like it that way. We don’t go in for big sales pitches or trying to talk people into things.
