Our shop is over in General Bazar. The address is 3-3-64 65/1, in the Kurma Basti area of Secunderabad. If you know General Bazar, you know how narrow the lanes are and how many people are always walking around. We deal with metals here. Our space is usually filled with stacks of metal sheets or rods, depending on what we have in stock that week. It’s heavy work, and our hands are usually covered in dust or grease by the time we go home. We don’t have a fancy office upstairs; we just work right here among the metal. The building is old, like many others in this part of town, but it’s sturdy enough for what we need. We get a lot of local workers and contractors coming in to pick up supplies. Sometimes it’s a struggle to get the delivery trucks through the crowded streets, especially during the middle of the day. We just do our own thing and don't worry too much about how the shop looks to outsiders. It’s a practical business for people who need metal for their own projects. We’ve been here in Kurma Basti for a good while now. We know the neighbors and the other shopkeepers, and we all just try to get through the day’s work. There’s no marketing talk here, just a lot of metal and effort. We just keep at it.
