Sri Lakshami Engg Industries

We are based at Plot No 92 in M. J. Colony, which is part of the Moula-Ali area. Sri Lakshami Engg Industries is a name we’ve carried for a long time. The workshop is a bit dusty because of all the metalwork we do. You can see the iron filings on the ground if you look closely. We have several heavy machines bolted to the floor that make a lot of noise when they’re running. The roof is made of corrugated sheets, so you really hear it when it rains. M. J. Colony is a bit of a maze if you don't know your way around, but we are right there at Plot 92. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just wipes their hands and says hello. Our desks are covered in blueprints and measuring tools. We spend a lot of time checking and re-checking our work to make sure it’s right. It’s a practical environment. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just the natural breeze and some ceiling fans that have been spinning for years. The coffee we make in the morning is probably too strong for most people. We like the grit of this place. It feels like real work is being done every single day. Most of the guys here have been working together for years, so we don't need to say much to understand each other. We stay until the jobs are done.
