Sri Datta Rubber Factory

You’ll find Sri Datta Rubber Factory at Plot No. 62 in Prashanthi Nagar. It’s in the Kukatpally area. We have been making rubber parts here for a long time. The machines are old but they still run well. It’s hot and smells like burnt rubber most of the day, but we are used to it. We aren't a big industrial giant. Just a local factory where we mold and cut things to order. The floor is usually covered in scrap material. We have a small shed for the office part where we keep the invoices. Most of the guys working here live nearby in Kukatpally. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If someone comes by, they usually just find us on the shop floor. We make things that go into other machines or vehicles. It’s greasy work. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait around, which is frustrating. But we get the orders out eventually. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just take the raw rubber and turn it into something useful. The gate at Plot 62 is usually open early in the morning. We just keep our heads down and do the production work. It’s a bit noisy and messy, but it’s our living and we are proud of the stuff we make here.
