Sri Datha Sai Tools Sharpners

The shop is tucked away at H No 9-382 in the Electronic Complex over in Kushaiguda. Being Sri Datha Sai Tools Sharpners means our days are mostly filled with the sound of grinding wheels. It’s a bit of a noisy job, but that’s just how it goes when you’re sharpening things all day long. People bring in all sorts of dull blades and bits that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time hunched over the machines, making sure the edges are right. The floor usually has a bit of metal dust on it by the afternoon no matter how much we sweep. Kushaiguda is a busy area, so there is always something moving outside the door. Our space isn't very large, just enough room for the equipment and a place for people to stand while they wait. Sometimes we have a backlog of work sitting on the bench, but we just get through it one piece at a time. It’s straightforward work. We don’t have any slick sales pitches or a big office. It’s just a workshop where we do what needs doing. If the machines are running, it’s hard to hear the phone, so we mostly just talk to whoever walks in. It’s a simple routine that we’ve stuck to for years now. We like it that way and plan to keep it going for more years.
