You can find us in the Blue Diamond building in Basheerbagh. It’s a well-known spot in Hyderabad, even if the building itself has seen better days. We handle a lot of mobile and communication stuff here, mostly helping people with their phones or getting them connected. The shop isn’t huge, so it feels a bit cramped when three or four people are standing inside at the same time. There’s always the sound of traffic from the street outside and the hum of the electronics inside. We spend a lot of our time looking at small screens or trying to explain how a certain plan works. It’s a fast-moving business because technology is always changing, but we just take it one customer at a time. Some days the internet is slow or the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out like everyone else in the neighborhood. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who know our way around a SIM card and a battery. It’s a lot of sitting and talking, and sometimes the days feel long, but we’ve got a good rhythm going now. People know they can find us here at the same spot in Blue Diamond every day, except for the holidays. It’s just how we run things in this part of the city, keeping it simple and practical for everyone.
